I am the worst Blogger EVER!!!!

Hello Everyone!! Wow it has been quite a long time sine I have updated my blog. I guess life has gotten away from me!!! What have I been up to, well working, crafting and learning to love. You know how they say that the moment that you stop trying to find love it drops right into your lap?? Well that is just waht happened to me. It was Canada day last year and I had dragged my bestie out of town to a house I had never been, to party with people that I had never met, just because a coworker who I had not seen in awhile was going to be there. It turns out that she had been trying to get me to come out so that I could meet someone she thought would be perfect for me. Well I was NOT having any of it ;-) I met the guy and just tried to pawn him off on my bestie. Well after seeing him at another party (it turns out it was his birthday and no one told me) He finally got up the courage to ask for my number. And the rest as they say is history! We have been together for almost a year and things are wonderful. He has made me realize that I need to take more control of my life and move forward. That is just what I am doing. My debt is under control and will be paid off in three years and I am even starting to lose weight. Now on the subject of weight I have always been comfortable in my own skin and my weight has never been an issue for me just a part of my life. I am proud of who I am and how I look...but it is hard to find clothes that fit me. I am not a normal fat girl....I never do anything normal. Bras are to big or too small, shirts are always to big in the shoulder and I get really discouraged. So I have decided to be smart I am making small changes to begin with and then just moving more. So we will see how that goes. I am also learing how to juggle friends, family and the Babe. Well that is all for now, I make a pledge that I will update this blog more then once a year!! Stuck At Work :-(

So just a quick post today!
No Pictures!
Why....Because I am STUCK AT WORK!!!!
I have been thinking a lot lately that if I did not have my job I would have more freedom. But then I would not have the money to do the things that I would want to do. The evil circle;-)

OOOPPPSSSSS

Ok so guess what I realized......I have not been on this site in TWO MONTHS. OOHHH that makes me feel bad. Well let me tell what I have been doing since I last was here.

Shopping, working, crafting, laughing, crying, exploring, finding new fun exciting nail colours

I have started to take an Art Journal class to help me figure out new ways of expressing myself. I am not an artist...the only thing that I can draw is a stick figure...really...not joking....really really not joking. Stick figures!!! So I am learning that it is ok to use mixed media and how to use didferent things like Gesso and wax in my art.

I have also bought a Instax Mini...Pink and White! Very exciting I only have 40 pictures that I can take and so I have been very picky what I take but I can tell you that most of the pictures are of my cats.

In March I went to Jeff Dunham here in Edmonton! It was a Christmas gift form a really good friend. I laughed so hard....he is a very funny man! I made sure to take the friday off so that I could party afterward with my Best Friend Megan!! Oh the fun we had...we paid for it the next day but it was totally worth it :-)

I have been taking a good look at my life and realize that it is time for a change. I won't say what right now but I am taking steps. Getting a plan...a budget etc.

I asked Lisa of not ladylike how to add a hyperlink to a post and sure enough she showed me!!!

Time

So here's where I am at today!
About a week ago I put on my watch like I do every morning and discovered that the battery had died :-( This really upset me, you see I am obbsessed with time...always have been. I plan my whole life on time, when I get up, how long it takes me to travel, how long my lunch is, how long until home time. I was the annoying kid in the back seat who asked how much longer. I think that my parents were relieved when I finally got my own watch and could figure it out on my own. The only time I don't wear my watch is on vacation and even then I use my phone clock or the car clock to gauge my time. So sad I know! Anyway back to my story, I could have put one of my 20 other watches on but for some reason I walked out the door without one on. But it is strange I had no time withdrawl! I did without! Things were ok! I even enjoyed the freedom so much that I went the next day...and the next day...and the next day...with no watch! It was awesome!!!!! I am even thinking that I will keep the watch off. Time is reletive and it does not rule my life. What a breath of air. Will have to keep the watch off and see how it goes! Will keep you posted.

A New Year :-)

Oh so much has happened in the last few weeks with Christmas and New Years!  But I have a few days off and so I am taking the time everyday to make sure that I BLOG. 

Well I will now list my top 5 New Years Resolutions



1) To be more Organized.  I am sure that it this is one that everyone has but I really want to make this one work.



2)  To be heathier.  I am quite overweight and I want to lose many pounds so with the help of my mum and sister I will!



3) To learn new things like how to crochet and quilt and even how to blog better!



4)  To cook more.  I really don't do as much cooking as I would like.



5) To just have more fun with my life!  After all it is the only one that I have might as well make the most of it.
